UNC Health Care is transitioning away from buying printers and printing supplies through ISD. Effective immediately, a vendor named Systel will supply equipment and supplies (excluding paper) as new printers are needed and/or leases with other print vendors expire.
Providers who use the Canto iPad app to access information in Epic@UNC can now e-prescribe directly from Canto. Just look for the ‘WriteRX’ icon in the Canto toolbar. In addition to e-prescribing, Canto offers providers secure access to clinic schedules, hospital patient lists, health summaries, test results, and notes.
