Flu restrictions for children 11 and under remain in effect

Flu season is still going strong. This means visitor restrictions for children under 12 years are still in effect.

This graph provides a visual of this year’s flu season compared to other years (2016-2017 is the blue line). The metric used to lift flu restrictions is two consecutive weeks with fewer than 10 cases. As the chart shows, we are not there yet (125 cases last week).

Please remain vigilant about restrictions for the safety of our patients and visitors and contact Cynthia Culbreth with any questions.
