RESOLVED Providers: Review ‘Other Orders’ tab in Chart Review for patients’ colonoscopy history

UPDATE: THIS ISSUE HAS BEEN RESOLVED AS OF 10 AM THURSDAY, AUG. 3. At this time, Epic@UNC is not accurately reflecting a patient’s history of external colonoscopies (those completed outside of UNC Health Care). The Epic@UNC team is actively working to resolve this issue. In the meantime, the ambulatory Colon Cancer Screening BPAs have been turned off. Please use the 'Other Orders' tab in Chart Review to view a patients colonoscopy history.

  • We will notify you when this issue has been resolved and the Colon Cancer BPAs are re-activated.
  • Patients who have had colonoscopies at UNC Health Care locations using Epic@UNC should not be affected by this issue.
