Inpatient nurses: Updates to ‘Print Label’ and collection task

Beginning Thursday, Aug. 31, worklist tasks will now limit the number of lab specimens that are automatically selected to print labels. There will be a one-hour limit – Epic@UNC will look forward one hour in order to automatically select labels for printing. If you need to print labels for labs more than one hour in the future, you must go to that specific task and click ‘Print Label.

2017-18 Flu Vaccine is now available

UNC Health Care has received its initial supply of influenza vaccine for the 2017-18 influenza season. The vaccines have been added to Epic and will be available for practitioners to start vaccinating patients beginning Sept. 1. Occupational Health Services will start vaccinating healthcare personnel starting on Monday, Sept. 11.
