UNC Medical Center, Chatham Hospital and UNC Hospitals-paid Faculty Physicians employees who would like online access to current and prior W-2s but haven't previously authorized this access must sign up by Monday, Jan. 16. If you choose not to authorize electronic delivery, your W-2 will be printed and mailed to your home address of record via the US Postal Service on or before Jan. 31 of each year. Address changes must be made by 5 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 12, to be reflected on the current year’s tax form.

Pilot of Epic@UNC integration with NC Immunization Registry to result in three changes to Immunization Documentation

Beginning Jan. 10, 2017, UNC Health Care will start integrating immunizations documented in Epic@UNC from a pilot clinic (Highgate) with the North Carolina Immunization Registry (NCIR). All ambulatory providers and clinical staff will notice three changes as we introduce this pilot.

Lab Update: CD45RA/RO T-cell Enumeration by Flow Cytometry

Effective immediately, the Flow Cytometry Laboratory at UNC Medical Center is offering an immunophenotyping test to enumerate naïve and memory CD4 and CD8 T lymphocytes based on the expression of CD45 RA and CD45 RO. This test is intended for evaluation of patients with suspected T cell primary immune deficiency syndromes.
