Dragon Software Upgrade coming this June

To ensure compatibility with Epic’s 2017 software, which will be installed July 22 as part of Go-Live #6, ISD will be upgrading the Dragon dictation software on workstations across UNC Health Care in June. The new version of Dragon was tested by both ISD and several providers.

Telemetry Order change effective June 13

Beginning Tuesday, June 13, the ‘Remote Tech Telemetry Monitoring’ order (NUR199) will have new fields based on AHA guidelines. The indications for the order will now be required along with matching duration options. This new functionality will limit the duration to three options: continuous, 24-hours, and 48-hours.
