Patient-Reported Button in Meds & Orders

As of June 12, a Patient-Reported button will be available in the Meds & Orders navigator section to allow users to add patient-reported medications directly within the Plan Tab without having to go back to the “Home Meds” (previously “Medications”) section or without creating a new historical prescription. Medications entered as Patient-Reported will not be flagged as new treatments on the AVS.

UNC Affiliates Parking Permit - Dogwood Deck & ACC Lot

UNC Affiliate Parking Permits are now available via email for employees visiting UNC Hospitals and the ACC for medical appointments and as visitors. These permits should requested only when an employee is at UNC Hospitals or the ACC as a patient (or when visiting a patient).

Healthwise patient instructions upgrade June 12

The Healthwise patient instructions content, found through the Clinical References (or References) link in Epic@UNC, will be upgraded on Tuesday, June 12. In addition to updates to Healthwise content, this upgrade also includes more than 500 Healthwise videos that will now be available within Epic@UNC.

Providers: Order Set revisions effective June 12 to save a click

To save a click for providers in Discharge Order Sets, starting Tuesday, June 12, the Discharge Instructions/Call MD order composer will no longer automatically open when checking the orders below. The order composer will only open when additional information is needed, such as a wildcard “***” that has been unanswered.​
