New policy for activities in the lobbies

A new policy regarding activities occurring outside normal business operations in the Medical Center lobbies has been implemented.

ADMIN 0291 – Activities in Medical Center Lobbies, was created as part of an effort to provide a more comfortable atmosphere and professional appearance for our patients and visitors.

This policy outlines a new process for reserving space in the lobbies, a set of guidelines used while reviewing all applications for space and a list of resources available to enhance events and displays. Any event or display booked prior to March 29 will be “grandfathered” in and will remain on the schedule.

Responsibility for oversight of activities in the lobbies has also transitioned from Volunteer Services to External Affairs. All questions regarding this new policy may be submitted to Lobbyreservations@unchealth.unc.edu.
