Ground Floor Neuroscience Corridor Closure

The ground floor corridor of the Neuroscience Hospital will be closed beginning just past the ENT Clinic beginning Thursday, May 10, at 4 p.m. This will effectively close the access to and from the building from the neurosciences loading dock until Monday morning, May 14, at 8 a.m.

Ambulatory Providers: New Order Class for UNC Home Health & Home Hospice

Beginning May 1, all non-medication orders entered for a UNC Home Health or UNC Home Hospice patient with an active episode in Epic must have an order class of Home Care (Amb). If you are placing an order for a patient who is currently receiving UNC Home Health or UNC Home Hospice care, and want a UNC home care clinician to be responsible for the order, you must choose the class of Home Care (Amb). Choosing the order class of Home Care (Amb) will eliminate the need to call or fax the UNC home care agency and notify them of the order.
