This presentation will begin with a discussion of how we process visual data. This will inform the audience of how graphs and charts are viewed. This information is important to consider in deciding which type of graph to use to present data. It is also useful in interpreting the information presented in graphs. The Nursing Quality and Research Leaders team will also discuss best practices for using visual data displays – what to include or not include, use of color, target and trend lines, and other topics.
