Diagnosis Records updated Oct. 1; action required for small number of diagnosis records

The yearly regulatory diagnosis update will be available in Epic@UNC on Monday, Oct. 1, 2018. The vast majority (~95%) of Diagnosis Records will be updated and require no action. Approximately 2% of diagnosis records will be marked as inactive without a mapped replacement, which will require providers to select a replacement diagnosis.

Our thoughts are with those who have suffered losses related to Hurricane Florence. The severity of this storm and its after effects dictate both an immediate and long-term response. Twenty-four of the thirty-four counties the NC Food Bank serves have been severely impacted by this storm. Intradermal Flu Vaccine Will Not Be Available Through OHS This Season

The intradermal flu vaccine will not be available as a flu vaccine option through Occupation Health Services this year. The two options for flu vaccine this year is Flulaval intramuscular injection and, coming in the first week of October, the egg-free flu vaccine option Flublok, also via intramuscular injection. All employees must be flu compliant by 8 a.m., Nov. 12 as a condition of employment.

Effective Oct. 9, MyChart Request Appt Visit Type Being Added to the General Visit Type List

Epic@UNC recently made some upgrades to their system settings on the back-end. Because of these upgrades, we need to add the MyChart Request an Appt visit type to the general visit type list to ensure that providers who currently have the Request Appointment functionality turned on will continue to allows patients to request an appointment with their providers.
