FastPass Offers To Be Sent During the Day Starting Oct. 16

To increase FastPass utilization and ensure any cancelled appointments are filled by patients who can use that appointment slot, patients on the waitlist for an appointment will begin receiving 'FastPass' appointment offers throughout the business day (at 8 a.m., noon, or 5 p.m.) on Wednesday, Oct. 16. Dual Employment Policy To Retire Dec. 31

​The UNC Medical Center’s dual employment policy will retire on Dec. 31 2019. Effective Oct. 1, no new Dual Employment relationships will be approved. This will allow departments that are currently engaged in a Dual Employment arrangement with other state employees to reassess the need, and if still needed, they will have to determine how to hire them directly.
