The class will cover Best Practice Advisories (BPA’s), Health Maintenance, and the fundamentals of clinical reporting. Using these tools in a meaningful way can result in better patient outcomes, increased identification of care gaps and subsequent need for outreach, identification of need for screenings and can also help providers meet certain screening rate metrics.

Implementing Epic@UNC's suite of Population Health tools can improve quality of care for patients with a specific disease, help manage high risk patients with multiple co-morbities or manage the wellness of an overall patient population.
