2019 Aligned NGACO Beneficiaries Flagged in Epic with Value Care Banner

On Feb. 14, Epic@UNC refreshed the Value Care banner to flag the calendar year 2019 NGACO patients who are aligned to our Medicare Next Generation ACO (NGACO). The Value Care banner identifies NGACO patients and alerts providers, clinic staff, schedulers, and care managers that NGACO services are available to help manage their care. Details here.

Patient Engagement Tip: DAR Columns and Adding My UNC Chart Status

To help improve the My UNC Chart activation rate and access to care for patients through the ability to schedule and request appointments and receive Fast Pass offers, clinic team members can add the MyChart Status column to the DAR (administrative workflow) to guide activation efforts. The Patient Portal Status column can also be added to the Schedule (clinical workflow) to increase the visibility of status. For step-by-step instructions, please view this tip sheet.
