An Exciting New Feature for Easier SAFE Reporting!

Patient Safety reporting through SAFE can now be accessed from a patient’s chart in Epic@UNC. If you access SAFE through the patient’s chart, you will already be logged-in to SAFE and the patient’s MRN and name fields will automatically populate once you’ve completed the required fields.

Providers: New Tip Sheet Available for Attestations at Epic@UNC For more information on how to select an inpatient, outpatient, or procedure attestation and the new nesting structure, an Attestation Tip Sheet is available. Providers can utilize the dot phrase “ALLATTESTATIONSUNCHCS” to select an attestation. Attestations are arranged according to common billing scenarios and include three categories: Inpatient Attestations, Outpatient Attestations, and Procedure and Op Note Attestations.

Planned Muse Downtime – Aug. 12

Muse will be unavailable from 11 p.m. Monday, Aug. 12, through 5 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 13. During the downtime, you will be unable to log into Muse, transmit EKGs, or pull patient information and orders to the EKG carts. However, any existing links in Epic@UNC for EKGs will be available.

Changes to the default view in Epic@UNC for Allergy/Endocrinology users
