Scheduling/Registration Staff: What to Do When You Encounter Multiple Hospital Accounts (HARs)

When creating Hospital Accounts (HARs), scheduling/registration end-users will sometimes encounter a message saying “Assign Hospital Account.” This indicates that a HAR for another visit already exists and the visit being scheduled should be assigned (linked) to this existing HAR, instead of having a new HAR created. Furthermore, there will be occasions where there are two existing HARs (sometimes both will even have 100% next to them, making them look like either is acceptable). If the HAR advisor recommends multiple HAR’s, choose the one on top. View a screenshot.
