The UNC School of Medicine's chapter of the Gold Humanism Honor Society is launching the “Tell Me More” project throughout UNC hospitals Feb. 13- 17. The effort hopes to help patients share who they are as people beyond the confines of their condition.

Dr. Itani’s primary clinical interest is in surgical infections, hernia repair and surgical education with a research focus on the improvement of health services and surgical outcomes within his areas of clinical interest.
