8th Symposium on Hemostasis: Translational and Basic Science Discoveries from May 12, 2016 06:00 PM to May 14, 2016 02:00 PM Carolina Inn, Chapel Hill,
The focus will include the latest findings related to tissue factor, coagulation proteases and their role in hemostasis and thrombosis, as well as interplay between coagulation and inflammation. Important new research on novel approaches for treating bleeding in hemophilia and trauma induced coagulopathy, animal models of bleeding and thrombosis and activation of coagulation in disease will also be presented. Invited faculty are the world's formost basic scientists and clinicians working in the field of tissue factor biology, coagulation and hemostasis.

The Sovera Document Imaging application will be down for scheduled maintenance on Thursday, May 12, from 7:30 – 8 p.m. During this time, Sovera document retrieval will be unavailable, including images in Epic@UNC. “Scan to Sovera” will still be available but documents will not be viewable until after the downtime is complete.
