This year's Nannerl Keohane Distinguished Visiting Professorship Lecture will be delivered by Susan E. Lederer, PhD, Robert Turell Professor and Chair, Department of Medical History and Bioethics. University of Wisconsin-Madison. The title of Lederer's lecture is "The Living and the Dead: The Human Body, Anatomy and the State in 20th Century America.

A free drop-in photo session will be offered for UNC School of Medicine faculty members and UNC Health Care advanced practice providers (AuDs, CRNAs, CNMs, CNSs, CPPs, LCSWs, NPs, OTs, PTs, PAs and SLPs) only in January. Non-faculty advanced practice providers must provide direct, clinical patient care in the outpatient setting in order to be photographed. As always, all UNC School of Medicine faculty members are welcome to attend. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate residents, fellows, program directors or other staff members at this session.

Implementation Science is the use of strategies to adopt and integrate evidence-based approaches and the systematic study of specified activities designed to put into practice activities or programs of known dimensions. The field of Dissemination and Implementation Science (D&I) is rapidly growing. We have organized this workshop to introduce you to some resources and current projects to guide your research interventions.
