The Dismantling Racism in Medicine Coalition, a group of students in the health sciences and the medical school, is putting on an interdisciplinary discussion on identifying and adopting anti-racist practices in health research. Please join us on Tuesday, September 26th, 2017 from 4:30-6PM in Bondurant G100. The speakers are: Giselle Corbie-Smith, MD, MsC (Center for Health Equity Reaserch), Geni Eng, DrPH, MPH (Department of Health Behavior), Raul Necochea, PhD (Departments of Social Medicine and History), Anissa Vines, PhD (Department of Epidemiology), Mysha Wynn, MA (Project Momentum Inc.). All are welcome (students, faculty, community partners), and there will be food! No registration required.

This educational activity will provide a refresher on optimal treatment of various cardiovascular diseases. Also, new technologies and drug therapies will be discussed. Challenging cases will be reviewed to put current treatment recommendations in perspective. Lastly, panel discussions will be held and questions solicited from the audience.
