Healing and Helping - Kate Menard, MD

As an Employee Ambassador, Kate Menard, MD earned a donation of $250 to Project Graduation through UNC Health Care's Ambassador Recognition Program.

Dr. Menard is Vice Chair for Obstetrics and Director of UNC Maternal Fetal Medicine. Project Graduation is designed to provide a fun, alcohol-free night for graduating seniors from Chapel Hill-Carrboro city schools.

About the Employee Ambassador Program
UNC Health Care's Employee Ambassador Program  is designed to recognize UNC Health Care employees for giving back to their communities. As part of the program, each Employee Ambassador volunteering 50 hours or more with a qualifying charity will earn a donation of $250 for that charity. In 2011, the program’s more than 240 Ambassadors volunteered 6,464 hours with dozens of local charities.
