2014 marked a new beginning for our series. In January 2014, UNC Health Care was honored with it’s first Midsouth Regional Emmy Award for the story about the Bone Marrow Transplant Unit staff participating in the Spartan Race. Then in May, 2014 what had been two series (Real Doctors, Real People and RN: Real Medicine) combined in an evolution of storytelling to make Real Medicine: Stories that Connect.
We’ve been across the state as far as Pardee and as close as Rex to see the stories that make UNC Health Care the special place it is.
