Late Night with Roy 2011 will be held on Friday, Oct. 14 at the Dean E. Smith Center. To improve the financial sustainability of the transit system, Chapel Hill Transit (CHT) implemented schedule changes that became effective Aug. 15. CHT makes changes to its schedules two times a year in response to ridership trends, changing traffic patterns, popular destinations and growth in the area.

Chapel Hill Transit (CHT) has finalized its service adjustments that will take effect Aug. 15. The adjustments were developed in an effort to make the financing of the transit system more sustainable for the future and discussed with the public during a series of forums held earlier this month.
The section of Raleigh Street between East Franklin Street and Cameron Avenue/Country Club Road will be closed to through traffic from Wednesday, June 22 through July 29.
A portion of Ridge Road from Country Club Road by the Law School to Stadium Drive by Avery and Parker Residence Halls will be closed to through traffic from Friday, June 10 through Sunday, June 12 approximately three hours prior to the first game of each day.

An eight-week construction project beginning Monday, May 9, will force the closure of two lanes of traffic on Manning Drive adjacent to the Craige Parking Deck. Through traffic will be maintained on Manning Drive, though motorists should expect some delays, particularly during rush hours, and should plan accordingly.
