UNC home football continues Saturday at noon - GO HEELS

UNC's home football schedule continues Nov. 8 against Georgia Tech. Please plan appropriately as you travel to/from UNC Hospitals and the School of Medicine, as traffic will be heavy several hours before game time.

Certain lots are RESERVED for the Carolina home football game this Saturday at noon. On home football Saturdays, vehicles must be removed from designated reserved lots or risk being ticketed ($20 fine) and towed ($90 - $100 fee). On these days, PLEASE DO NOT park your vehicle in the reserved game lots.

Remaining home schedule: 

    * Nov. 8 vs. Georgia Tech, noon
    * Nov. 22 vs. NC State, time to be announced

If your vehicle is parked in a reserved football lot (see the link below) on a home football Saturday, it will automatically be ticketed and / or towed beginning at 8 a.m. Alternate parking is available for employees, students, and hospital patients / visitors.

Student resident lots are reserved for students, and the Dogwood Deck is available for patients and visitors on home game days.

South Road will be restricted during ingress and egress, running one-way from Columbia Street eastward toward Country Club Road. Only valid permits, buses, and emergency vehicles will be allowed onto South Road from Columbia Street.

Ridge Road will be restricted from four (4) hours prior to game time through the end of egress.

UNC Public Safety strongly encourages football fans to park and ride to Kenan Stadium for home games. Park and ride bus service is offered from the NC 54 Friday Center Lot; from the Dillard's end of University Mall, from the Estes Drive "P" Lot, or from the 725 Martin Luther King Jr. Lot beginning three (3) hours prior to a scheduled home game kick-off. Park and ride service is also available from the Jones Ferry Road and Southern Village lots beginning 90 minutes prior to game time. Parking in these areas is free, and round-trip service is $5 on these routes.

Additionally, "Touch DownTown" shuttles will service the AOB / R1 / R2 Lot off Airport Drive and the 725 Martin Luther King Jr. Lot from three (3) hours prior to game time until 90 minutes following the end of each home game. "Touch DownTown" shuttles will make stops along Franklin Street, Cameron Avenue, and South Road.
