Info on State and Federal False Claims Laws

According to The Deficit Reduction Act we are required to provide employees, contractors, agents, and vendors with information on State and Federal False Claims Laws. Included in the information that we are required to provide are the basic elements of law, civil and criminal penalties, whistleblower protections, and UNC Health Care’s policies for compliance.

Two key documents have been created to assist in our communication of this information to employees, contractors, agents and vendors.  Both of these documents can be found on the Compliance Department’s Web site at
