Health Science Library adds Embase to Clinical Reference resources

A training session will be held on Monday, April 6 at 10 a.m.

The Excerpta Medica database (/EMBASE/) produced by Elsevier, is a major biomedical and pharmaceutical database indexing over 3,500 international journals in the following fields: drug research, pharmacology, pharmaceutics, toxicology, clinical and experimental human medicine, health policy and management, public health, occupational health, environmental health, drug dependence and abuse, psychiatry, forensic medicine, and biomedical engineering/instrumentation.

There is selective coverage for nursing, dentistry, veterinary medicine, psychology, and alternative medicine. Our coverage:1988-present.

Next Monday, the Health Sciences Library will be hosting a special training session on one of our new databases, called Embase. The Embase training will be held in room 307, on Monday, April 6, from 10-11:15 am. Please join us to learn more about when and how to use Embase for your research and lit searches.
