UNC students dance for 24 hours straight to raise money for N.C. Children's Hospital

The annual Dance Marathon is UNC's biggest student fundraising event. Students raised $394,278.94!

Nearly 2,000 UNC students stood for 24 hours straight at Dance Marathon, a fundraiser for N.C. Children's Hospital, from 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 20 until 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 21.  Each student participating as a dancer raised $100 and student "moralers," who cheered on the dancers, raised $35 each.  Students also organize other fundraising activities throughout the year.  If you'd like to learn more about Dance Marathon, check out these links.
