Photoshop for Medicine seminar

The Digital Imaging Institute for Medicine and Science presents a seminar, Photoshop for Medicine, on Saturday, Nov. 21.

The seminar will be held from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. in the Bioinformatics Building Auditorium, room 1131. The Digital Imaging Institute is an organization established to address the needs of medical and scientific professionals who work with digital images but don’t wish to become a Photoshop expert.

Twenty years ago graphic artists and creative photographers were transitioning to digital imaging. It is only in the last few years that this paradigm shift has occurred in medicine and science.

Now, with the arrival of Adobe Photoshop CS4 Extended, new possibilities exist for medical and scientific professionals to quickly use digital images from diagnostic modalities in education and research.

Whether you are totally new to Photoshop or have some experience, this fast-paced one-day seminar will provide what you need to use digital images to ask questions, report results and share scientific and medical advancements that extend and enhance people’s lives. Click here for more details.
