SOM Faculty: Meet the new Deans and discuss the Faculty Survey

Please read the following message from Paul Godley, Executive Associate Dean for Faculty Affairs about a series of open discussions about faculty concerns in the School of Medicine.

Dear Colleagues:

On behalf of my fellow deans, I am pleased to invite you to a series of open discussions about faculty concerns in the School of Medicine. Amelia Drake and I will host eight one-hour sessions through this October and November. At each session we will discuss the results of the recent faculty survey, and then focus on a particular topic. Other deans will join us to speak about their particular areas of responsibility. Faculty can choose the session that is most appropriate for them.

All dates, times, and topics are listed below. Coffee and light refreshments will be provided. RSVP to doevent@listserv.med.unc.edu and include the date that you wish to participate.

I hope you will take the time to join us for these sessions this fall. I think it will be a great opportunity to speak frankly about improving the School of Medicine.

Sincerely,

Paul Godley, MD, PhD, MPP
Executive Associate Dean for Faculty Affairs
