Managing Anger
Tuesday, Oct. 12, 12:30 - 1:30 p.m.
We
hurt ourselves with anger as much as we hurt others. It damages our
relationships, jeopardizes our health, and sabotages our successes.
Although learning to manage anger is a life-long process, there are
steps you can take now to lessen the impact of anger on you and others.
In this experiential workshop, you will learn how to effectively deal
with anger and how to consciously choose your behaviors. William Frey is
a certified professional coach, assistant manager of Training &
Talent Development for UNC Chapel Hill, instructor of Mindfulness-Based
Stress Reduction for the UNC School of Medicine, co-owner of Pathfinders
Coaching, and author of Stress Tips.

such a powerful tool for making changes or creating concentration and
relaxation. Understand a clear process for creating specific positive

and learn when and how to use them for maximum effect - to attain
focus, persist in practice, work more smoothly with colleagues, or
enhance performance in high-pressure situations. Helen Spielman is a
performance anxiety coach with an international clientele who presents
workshops around the world. Her articles and work have been featured in
publications in Europe, Scandinavia, New Zealand, Australia, Japan, and
