Ambulatory Clinics achieve record-breaking patient satisfaction scores, Top Five clinics named

UNC’s Outpatient clinics averaged a score of 90.9 for patient satisfaction from July 2009 – June 2010, which puts them in the 79th percentile nationwide. The latest set of “Top Five” clinics include: PreCare, Reproductive Endocrine, Geriatrics, Psychiatry, and Pediatric Gastroenterology. The Wound Clinic was most improved.

Over the last half decade, average scores have continued to rise, and are at record high levels for UNC. In conjunction with the Commitment to Caring initiative, the Ambulatory Patient Experience Team (APEX), recognizes quarterly winners for the “Top Five” clinics as well as the most improved clinic.

UNC clinics continue to achieve scores several points above the national average. As a token of appreciation, ambulatory clinics will receive a fruit basket from the Ambulatory Care administration. Congratulations and keep up the good work!
