Reminder: Department of Cell & Molecular Physiology Research Day

The 14th annual Research Day sponsored by the Department of Cell & Molecular Physiology will be Sept. 24. This event serves to introduce the department's research to new students and faculty, and to promote productive scientific interactions and collaborations throughout the Health Science programs within and beyond UNC-Chapel Hill.

The Research Day will take place from noon - 7 p.m. in the Medical Biomolecular Research Building.

This year’s Research Day will feature three invited speakers. Dr. Kathleen Caron (UNC-Chapel Hill) will present "Fetal Signals Contributing to Maternal Adaptation to Pregnancy," Dr. Ben Philpot (UNC-Chapel Hill) will present “New Angle on Angelman Syndrome,” and Dr. Jennifer Lippincott-Schwartz (NIH) will speak about “Breakthroughs in Imaging Using Photoactivatable Fluorescent Protein Technology.”
