The scores are in. And they are very good. UNC Hospitals’ inpatient satisfaction scores rose to the 74th percentile in the University Healthsystem Consortium (UHC) database for the 2rd quarter of the 2010 fiscal year (October – December 2009). That means that our patients ranked our inpatient services more highly than 74 percent of our peers.
That’s a huge percentile jump from the previous quarter, when our inpatient scores placed us in the 50th percentile of the UHC database. To recognize employees, UNC Health Care ran this ad in Wednesday's Chapel Hill News.
