Martin Luther King, Jr. ceremony Jan. 15

The annual UNC Health Care Martin Luther King, Jr., program is scheduled to take place Friday, Jan. 15, from 11:45 a.m. – 1 p.m. in the 4th Floor clinic auditorium.

During his life’s work, Dr. King was committed to caring about people. This is in direct correlation with our mission here at UNC Health Care. Our commitment to caring acknowledges the importance of people as a pillar of our success as an organization.

The guest speaker for this event will be Reverend Kenneth R. Hammond, Senior Pastor at Union Baptist Church. There will also be musical selections performed by UNC Health Care Promise Idol finalists Sarah Hassing and Elsie Wu, plus pianist Nicole Shepherd from the Durham School of the Arts.

Please plan to attend the program and encourage your colleagues and staff to do the same. A poster for this event is available here. You can add this event to your calendar at this link.
