NC TraCS Institute $50K Commercialization Grant Program now accepting submissions

The NC TraCS $50K Commercialization Grant Program provides funding and access to internal and external business experts to assist faculty-originated startup companies with the commercialization of concepts for novel therapeutic small molecules, biologics, diagnostics, or devices.

This grant program offers applicants the avenue to request support for operational needs (i.e. legal expenses, business plan creation, market research, regulatory consultation) and/or the creation of product or service prototypes.

The submission due date for the Commercialization Grant is June 30, 2010. For complete details about the grant program, please visit the NC TraCS Commercialization website at www.ncbiostart.com, and click on “Grant Program” in the left-hand menu.

NOTE: The previous round’s (deadline March 31, 2010) grant guidelines have been modified for the current round of funding. Please visit the website to view the new guidelines.
