$3.1M grant awarded to study a classroom-based intervention for preschoolers with autism
A team of researchers in the Department of Allied Health Sciences have been awarded a $3.1 million grant from the Institute of Education Sciences to study the efficacy of an intervention for preschool-aged children with autism.

Norma Berryhill Distinguished Lecture to be given by Ronald Falk, MD
The annual Norma Berryhill Distinguished Lecture will be presented by Ronald Falk, MD, Allen Brewster Distinguished Professor of Medicine, Chief, Division of Nephrology & Hypertension, Director, UNC Kidney Center. The title of the lecture is, "The Essential Need for a Climate of Curiosity in Academic Hospitals: The ANCA Vasculitis Story." It will take place Oct. 3.
