Department of OB/GYN Presents: Optimizing Women's Health from Adolescence to Menopause
This course will explore the most recent evidence and recommendations for preventive health across the female reproductive lifespan. Geared towards all primary care providers of women’s health, the program will address topics encountered commonly in an office practice including human papillomavirus (HPV), the spectrum of cancer screening, a range of pregnancy related topics including breastfeeding, gestational diabetes and peripartum depression. The care of the menopausal patient, including the topics of osteoporosis and treatment of hot flashes, will round out the program.
