New Cultural Competency Standards
The Joint Commission has released new cultural competency standards which will be in effect next year, January 2012. There are also existing cultural competency standards which UNC Hospitals will be scored on during our upcoming Joint Commission survey, so now is the time to brush up on these standards.

A multi-disciplinary task force is working on an educational implementation plan for these standards. Stay tuned for additional information!
