Specifically, the HSL and WebCIS team are pleased to announce that, as of Jan. 19, UpToDate (a highly valued clinical information resource licensed by HSL for our users) has been integrated with the UNC Hospitals’ WebCIS Electronic Medical Record System (available on clinical workstations within UNC Health Care, as well as to authorized users off-campus). Within WebCIS, you can go to the HSL's online Clinical Reference Guide . A link, “UpToDate (through WebCIS)” appears on that page. There is also a link on this Guide to UpToDate for non-WebCIS users.

UNC Health Care Physicians, Osteopaths, Nurse Practitioners, Physicians Assistants are eligible to take advantage of this new services. Other UNC Health Care personnel can certainly use UpToDate through WebCIS, but accruing CME credit will not be possible unless a professional organizations specifically approves those credits.
