Dichter honored with Vanderbilt University award
Gabriel Dichter, PhD, Department of Psychiatry, Carolina Institute for Developmental Disabilities (CIDD), has been awarded the 2011 Vanderbilt University Randolph Blake Early Career Award for the Psychological Sciences.

NC TraCS Child Health Research Interest Group

NC TraCS offers $10,000 grants to support researchers with the early development of a research idea or to expand an existing study beyond the original scope into promising new directions. The next submission due date for a TraC$10K is March 8.
Miller honored with Heart of Change award
Paula Miller, MD, associate professor of cardiology, will be honored with 2011 Heart of Change Award presented by AT&T at the annual Triangle Heart Ball on March 5. The award honors community leaders who have significantly impacted change in the treatment or prevention of heart disease and stroke related death or disability.

Memorial Hospital entrance to close March 14 for construction
The N.C. Memorial Hospital entrance will close Monday, March 14, for the installation of a new revolving door. In addition to installing the revolving door, a handicap-accessible, four-foot-wide door will also be available for patients/visitors/staff once this work is complete.
