Stewart honored with 2011 Louise Ward Excellence in Teaching Award
Laine K. Stewart is an Instructor and Clinical Education Coordinator in the Division of Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within the Department of Allied Health Sciences.

She teaches the microbiology and hematology laboratory courses for the first year CLS students. The award is named in honor of Miss Louise Ward, who was one of the early program directors of the then Medical Technology program at UNC.
