ONYEN to Replace PID Sign-In for Online Resources
As of June 15, ONYEN sign-in will replace PID sign-in for off-campus use of UNC Health Sciences Library (HSL) online resources.
The change, which will be true for all online resources offered by UNC-Chapel Hill libraries, is being implemented to meet new and more stringent security and privacy requirements. As an affiliate of UNC-Chapel Hill, creating or updating your ONYEN is easy. Faculty, students and staff can use the following links for additional resources and information about setting up or reactivating an ONYEN:
- Reactivate your ONYEN if you have previously had a UNC-Chapel Hill ONYEN as a student, faculty or staff.
- Challenge-Response Password Reset System - Plan ahead and use this option to create a way to reset your password online.
If you have questions or problems related to this change, please use the contact information on the HSL’s Ask a Librarian page to request further help.
