Dr. Berkowitz is Vice Chair for Education and Program Director in the Department of Medicine.

The APDIM Dema C. Daley Founders Award honors a member of the internal medicine community recognized nationally as an educator, innovator, and leader.

APDIM presented the award to Dr. Berkowitz during the 2012 APDIM Spring Conference.
