UNC docs to perform surgery as part of the Advances in Gynecology and Pelvic Pain conference
Dr. John Steege and Dr. Matthew Siedhoff, of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, will perform a laparoscopic surgery, either hysterectomy or myomectomy, using a live audio and video feed to a conference room, as part of this 2012 conference. Read on for more details.

Attenders will be able to ask questions in real time throughout the surgery. After the surgery, the surgeons will join the attenders in the conference room to discuss the case.
