Center for Faculty Excellence Spring 2013 Training/Education Series

Join the Center for Faculty Excellence for one or more of their Spring 2013 training. The center is offering a new PI Training Series, a Mentoring Series and a Clinical Trial Investigator Series.

The New PI Training Series is comprised of different modules to educate investigators on being a PI on sponsored projects at UNC-CH. The intended audience is faculty and postdocs who are new PIs, or about to be new PIs, on sponsored projects; experienced PIs who are interested in attending are welcome.  First session is on Jan. 10. The Mentoring Series will be comprised of different topics related to mentoring junior faculty, postdocs, and graduate students to become independent researchers; relevant for mentors and mentees. First session is on Jan. 16. Read more here.

The Clinical Trial Investigator Series provides education on how to successfully conduct clinical trials of drugs, devices, and to some extent, non-drug intervention trials. The intended audience is faculty, residents, or fellows who are, or aspire to be, clinical trial investigators. First session is on Jan. 8. Read more here.
