The Joint UNC-NCSU Rehabilitation Engineering Center Pilot Grant Program Makes First Two Awards
The Rehabilitation Engineering Center announces the awards of two pilot grants totaling $50K to facilitate collaboration between UNC and NCSU faculty for attaining larger grants, and to foster collaboration between undergraduate engineers at NCSU/UNC and Health Sciences students at UNC. These two grants will foster advancement of clinically relevant rehabilitation engineering research.

Rogue Wireless Access Points Not Allowed on UNC Network
ITS has begun to actively seek out rogue consumer devices such as Linksys, D-Link, Belkin, Apple AirPort, etc. and will block them from the network when detected.
Network Access Control is coming to MacNider and Brinkhous-Bullitt buildings on Monday, February 6th!
OIS, together with ITS, will be activating Network Access Control (NAC) in these buildings. If prompted, please follow the steps to download and install the NAC agent onto your computer to get access to the network. Only devices that are “wired” to connect to the network will be affected. Local Film Premier of "Neurotypical": Chapel Hill TEACCH Fundraiser
The local premiere of NEUROTYPICAL, directed by Adam Larsen, will take place Feb. 11 at 10 a.m. and again on Feb. 25, at 10 a.m. at the Carolina Theatre in Durham. Proceeds will benefit persons with Autism Spectrum Disorder and their families.
