National and international media have picked up Dr. Cynthia Bulik's research on body image in women above the age of 50. The American Psychiatric Association's 'Headlines' newsletter also selected a recent study led by Dr. Bulik as their top story.

The Center for Heart and Vascular Care is now offering stress tests to cardiac patients at Caswell Family Medical Center as part of a community clinic partnership that began in 2008.
Kidney Center included in PCORI Pilot Project
The UNC Kidney Center has been included in PCORI Pilot Project to study and develop a Patient Centered Decision Tool for Nephrotic Syndrome Management. Patrick Nachman, MD, will lead UNC's effort. The project is part of a national effort to improve methods for Patient-Centered Outcomes Research.
