Meaningful Use: Countdown to the FY12 Org Goal! Urgent information about your attestation
UNC’s FY12 Organizational Quality Goals included a measure for 35 percent of our Eligible Professionals (EPs) to attest to Meaningful Use by June 30 of this year.
The Practice Quality and Innovation (PQI) Project Team is avidly monitoring the data to identify when an EP meets all the measures over a rolling 90-day reporting period, and is considered “Ready to Attest.”
Each day we’re finding more and more of you are “Ready to Attest!” This is great!—but “Ready” isn’t “Attested.” The actual attestation involves a complex process (as one would expect with a federal program) that PQI has spared you by attesting on your behalf, but we need your authorization in order to complete your attestation.
From now through the end of the month, we will publish an updated table each week listing the status of all UNC EPs who are “Ready to Attest,” and the action required to complete the attestation. Please continue to check it if you don’t see your name listed initially. The table is always available through our website (below), or can be accessed by clicking here.
If you have any concerns or questions regarding your MU attestation, please contact your PQI Project Coach or send an email to meaningfuluse@unch.unc.edu.
