Dear Colleagues,
As we communicated to you via email last month, it has been proposed that the School of Medicine constitution be revised to create a new Department of Cell Biology and Physiology.
The proposed change to the constitution would create a new Department of Cell Biology and Physiology in place of the existing departments of Cell and Developmental Biology and Cell and Molecular Physiology. Faculty from both departments have endorsed the proposed name for the new department.
In order to enact these revisions to our constitution, two-thirds of the faculty votes received must be affirmative. Please submit your response by clicking the link below and indicating whether you are IN FAVOR of amending our constitution or whether you are AGAINST this change to our constitution. You will be prompted to log in with your ONYEN:

Please submit your vote by June 21, 2012.
If approved, the Department of Cell Biology and Physiology would become operational in FY 2013. We appreciate your consideration and strongly encourage you to vote on this important matter.
Sincerely,
William L. Roper, MD, MPH
Dean, School of Medicine
