School of Medicine Accreditation: LCME Site Visit March 11 – 14, 2012

Site visitors will meet with more than 120 faculty, staff and students over the course of the visit, mainly in 133 MacNider. They will also have brief tours of the MBRB, Berryhill, Bondurant, and the HSL on March 12, and the hospital, the ACC and the Family Medicine Center on March 13. The UNC School of Medicine will host a site visit team representing the Liaison Committee on Medical Education (LCME), the official accrediting body for educational programs leading to the MD degree in the US and Canada. The site visit begins Sunday, March 11 and will run until Wednesday, March 14. The site visitors will be meeting with over 120 faculty, staff and students over the course of the visit, mainly in 133 MacNider. They will also have brief tours of the MBRB, Berryhill, Bondurant, and the HSL on Monday 3/12 and the hospital, the ACC and the Family Medicine Center on Tuesday, 3/13.
