Five medical students enter Armed Forces upon graduation
Commencement is a special ceremony for any medical student. But for five UNC medical students this year, it was special for an additional reason - they were commissioned into the United States Armed Forces.

Brian McKinney and Margaret Walters were commissioned full Lieutenants in the medical corps of the United States Navy. Will Stone was commissioned a Captain in the medical corps of the United States Army. Mamie Groomes and Fortune Egbulefu were commissioned as Captains in the medical corps of the United States Air Force.
